Biography
Dr. E. Retna Siga is the founder of Energetic Engineers, bringing over 20 years of experience across mechanical engineering, infrastructure projects, and renewable energy systems. His career spans academic leadership, large-scale industrial construction, and hands-on execution of solar, wind, and hybrid power projects.
He began his professional journey as a site and construction engineer, working on high-compliance projects in nuclear power, oil and gas, and petrochemical plants, including assignments associated with BARC, L&T, and BPCL. He later transitioned into academia, serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at multiple engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu, where he led department development, accreditation processes, and applied engineering research.
Alongside his academic leadership, Dr. Siga has actively executed renewable energy initiatives, including the design, installation, and commissioning of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar and wind power systems ranging from 1 kW to 1 MW. Energetic Engineers was established to deliver disciplined engineering execution, system reliability, and sustainable energy solutions for industrial and institutional clients across Tamil Nadu.
